3411 Building Repurpose

While negotiating a new lease with TransWest, Redco Development partnered with HST and Nelson Worldwide who developed a plan for modifying the building structure and repurposing the building.  The project's goal was provide access for the tenant to service their bus fleet inside the building.  HST removed the existing hollow brick wall and built a new structural wall with recessed ramp opening large enough to provide bus access to the building.  Extensive temp supports were used while a new structural concrete wall was constructed and tied into the existing walls and roof system, providing enhanced support to the building.
