3411 Building Repurpose

During lease negotiations with TransWest, Redco Development collaborated with HST and Nelson Worldwide to transform the building for a new purpose. The project focused on adapting the structure to allow bus fleet servicing within the facility. This involved the removal of an existing hollow brick wall and the construction of a new structural concrete wall with a recessed ramp, large enough to accommodate bus access. Extensive temporary supports ensured stability throughout the process, while the new wall was integrated into the existing walls and roof system, enhancing the building's structural integrity.
